School Age Program Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Age Leader to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. As a School Age Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and programming for children aged 5-12 in a float position, working between various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate programs for children aged 5-12
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- 19 years of age or older
- Responsible Adult certification or equivalent child-related training
- Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with clear Vulnerable Sector Search
- Current Child Care First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
