Job Title: School Age Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Age Leader to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. As a School Age Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and programming for children aged 5-12 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate programs for children
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • 19 years of age or older
  • Responsible Adult certification or equivalent
  • Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with clear Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Current Child Care First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
