School Age Program Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic School Age Leader to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. As a School Age Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and programming for children in our School Age Care program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and supervision to children in our School Age Care program
- Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate programs for children
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children
- Collaborate with other staff members to achieve program goals and objectives
Requirements:
- 19 years of age or older
- Responsible Adult certification or equivalent child-related training
- Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with clear Vulnerable Sector Search
- Current Child Care First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
