About the Role:

The School Age Leader will be responsible for providing quality care and creative programming to children in a school age care setting. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct care and supervision to children in the school age program
- Implement the YMCA A Place to Connect curriculum with the support of the leader
- Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children
- Ensure all safety and supervision standards are implemented and maintained according to licensing and YMCA requirements

Qualifications:

- Must be 19 years of age and have a satisfactory criminal record check
- Responsible Adult certification or equivalent child-related training
- Current Child Care First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
