Special Events Coordinator

About the Role:
beBee Professionals is seeking an experienced Event Planning Manager to lead the planning and execution of events, including conferences, meetings, and other special events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Execution: Develop and manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, coordinate event logistics, and oversee event setup and execution.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement event marketing plans to attract attendees and promote the company's brand.
- Staff Management: Manage event staff, including coordinating their schedules and ensuring they have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks associated with events.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in event planning and management, with a strong track record of success.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
