The Role

We are seeking a permanent Account Executive, Group Business to join our team. This role will oversee mid and emerging sized group clients and build relationships with them. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of sales experience, including 4 years of related experience in group benefits/insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND ADVISORS: The Account Executive will service existing clients by building relationships with them and learning about their benefit needs.
  2. PROMOTE NEW PRODUCTS AND SERVICES: This role will work to understand and promote new products and services to the client block.
  3. MANAGE RENEWALS: As Account Executive, you will manage the renewal terms of the book of clients to ensure financial viability.
  4. NETWORK WITH THE GROUP BENEFIT COMMUNITY: You will network with the Group Benefit community to promote our brand and build relationships with clients and plan advisors.

Requirements
  • BAKER'S DEGREE IN BUSINESS, MARKETING, OR RELATED DISCIPLINE: Including or supplemented by specialized training and courses in sales and marketing.
  • LIFE LICENSE, OR EQUIVALENT: Experience working with consulting houses and large advisor firms.
  • APPTITUDE FOR MULTI-TASKING: Effective presentation and negotiation skills.
  • PROFICIENCY IN MS OFFICE SOFTWARE: Including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
