We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Technical Specialist to join our team at KF Aerospace.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to maintenance teams, troubleshooting and coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures and processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance to maintenance teams on aircraft avionics and electrical systems;
  • Supporting the interpretation of manufacturer's repair manuals, drawings, and other repair instructions;
  • Responding to requests from maintenance teams for technical assistance on projects or problem resolution;
  • Researching and developing proposals to address issues related to aircraft avionics and electrical systems;
  • Liaising with OEMs, equipment vendors, STC holders, and other stakeholders for troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution;
  • Participating in the coordination and monitoring of engineering activities, including internal resource allocation and external service provider engagement.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree in Electrical or Avionics Engineering, or equivalent experience;
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in aviation technical support or a related field;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze incomplete information and implement timely decision-making while mitigating risk factors;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
  • Familiarity with design philosophy for Boeing or Airbus commercial aircraft is an asset.
