Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Package Engineer to join our team at Equinox Engineering Ltd. As a key member of our EPCM firm, you will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanical engineering solutions for oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical engineering solutions for oil and gas projects, including gas plant design and equipment specification.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated design and engineering deliverables.
  • Interface with clients, project teams, and vendors to define project scope, resolve technical issues, and prepare procurement documents.
  • Lead client/vendor/contractor meetings and conduct field trips to client sites as required.
  • Develop and review mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment evaluations.
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of all major equipment in accordance with codes and specifications.
Requirements
  • APEGA P. Eng. - Mechanical Engineering Degree.
  • Minimum 5 years oil and gas experience - EPCM background preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge of static and rotating equipment design.
  • Experience with piping and pipelines stress analysis.
  • Familiarity with ABSA and AEUB regulatory requirements.
  • Applicable knowledge of industrial codes (CSA, ASME, API).
