Position Overview- Minimum of 5-12 years of experience in EPCM within the Oil and Gas sector.
- Experience in Gas Plant Design is a valuable asset.
- Successfully execute mechanical engineering tasks and deliverables.
- Work collaboratively with various engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Engage with clients, project teams, and vendors to clarify project scope and address technical challenges.
- Facilitate meetings with clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Conduct site visits as necessary for mechanical-related tasks.
- Select appropriate equipment, materials, and process systems.
- Review vendor equipment drawings for precision and adherence to standards.
- Specify, assess, and choose oil and gas processing equipment.
- Contribute to the development of P&ID and Line Designation Tables.
- Participate in the design of pipelines, pressure piping, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers.
- Develop and review mechanical drawings.
- Prepare engineering scope of work packages and coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and specifications.
- Proficient in various codes related to pressure vessel design, piping, and more.
- Familiarity with NACE standards is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in Package Engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Preferred experience in conventional oil, heavy oil, SAGD, and sweet and sour gas projects.
- Knowledge of CAESAR II Stress Analysis Software is beneficial.
- Expertise in specifying and procuring Mechanical Equipment and Packages.
- Possession of an APEGA P. Eng. - Mechanical Engineering Degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a preference for EPCM background.
- Experience in Equipment Package Engineering is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Static and Rotating Equipment Design.
- Experience with stress analysis of piping and pipelines.
- Familiarity with industrial codes such as CSA, ASME, and API.
