Job Summary:
The Equinox Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities with a focus on Oil and Gas experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate technical designs, drawings, specifications, and quotes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with Engineering disciplines, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Evaluate bids and provide technical recommendations to ensure the best value for the company.
- Coordinate vendor inspections, quality surveillance, and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Liaise with clients regarding packaged equipment issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare equipment specifications and evaluations to support project execution.
- Develop and maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Utilize project engineering experience to drive project success and ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
- P. Eng. – Mechanical Engineering Degree
- 5-7 years of Oil and Gas experience with EPCM background
- Strong working knowledge of Static and Rotating Equipment Design
- Experience developing and evaluating packaged equipment vendors
- Familiarity with relevant codes (ASME, API, etc.)
- Broad knowledge of typical gas processing packages (compressors, etc.)
