We are seeking a seasoned Senior Management professional to join our team at Peak North America. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sawmill operations in the Southern US.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to our sawmill interests, optimizing operational performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including production planning, resource management, quality control, employee management, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate fabrication, construction, machinery, and plant design solutions into forest industry operations, optimizing efficiency and performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, regulatory agencies, and local communities.
- Proven track record of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the forest/sawmill industry, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage operations and drive strategic initiatives.
- Strong technical knowledge of sawmill equipment, processes, and industry best practices acquired through hands-on experience.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including integrity, resilience, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
- Willingness to relocate to the Southern US.
