Job Title: Parts Person

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parts Person to join our team at Forest Power Sports LTD. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the right parts and accessories for their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering telephone calls and relaying messages to customers and colleagues
  • Cleaning and maintaining the office, supply area, or warehouse
  • Conducting sales calls and advising customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts
  • Setting up displays of retail parts and accessories
  • Addressing customer complaints or concerns
  • Handling cash transactions and processing incoming requisitions
  • Identifying, labeling, and cataloging items received
  • Issuing and distributing parts and supplies for internal use
  • Maintaining records on the inventory control system
  • Preparing and tracking work orders
  • Preparing requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
  • Processing incoming requisitions
  • Receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming parts, supplies, and materials
  • Selling spare and replacement parts
  • Shipping, delivering, or picking up parts, products, or equipment
  • Storing items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area
Requirements:
  • MS Office skills
  • Internet proficiency
  • Point of sale system knowledge
  • Marine, motorcycle, recreation vehicle, small engines and generators, and snowmobile parts specialization
  • Own transportation
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Client focus, dependability, flexibility, maturity, punctuality, and team player skills
