Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects within the program area, emphasizing management, leadership, and soft skills.
  • Establish timelines for project activities, determine project resource requirements, and assemble overall project schedules.
  • Utilize strong business acumen and planning skills to determine and manage the resources required to complete the project.
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships with academia, regulators, industry, and other relevant parties.
  • Promote and improve committee efficiency, evaluate member performance, and take action as required.
  • Manage standards development activities in existing areas and conduct business development initiatives to expand the portfolio into new areas of the program.
  • Consult with clients and other areas of CSA Group's business to support the development of standards and their impact.
  • Liaise with clients, management, Legal, and Finance to compose proposals, contracts, and financial analysis for new projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or technical degree in a related area, with an advanced degree highly desirable.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Standards Development and/or Project Management, with a minimum of 3 years in the alternative energy industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards industry, regulatory environment, government policy, industry landscape, and funding programs/models is an asset.
