Job Description
- Build relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and advocacy throughout the New Business and In-Force processes.
- Coordinate the accurate and timely processing of New Business and In-Force applications, adhering to service standards and risk management protocols.
- Proactively order medical evidence and review applications for completeness and accuracy, preventing errors and ensuring prompt contract issuance.
- Collaborate with advisors and internal departments to resolve identified errors or discrepancies in applications or processes.
- Assume ownership of assigned files, prioritizing tasks according to urgency and influencing internal clients to meet service standards.
- Maintain comprehensive case notes, summarizing actions taken and inquiries received, to ensure seamless file management.
- Educate clients on the necessary documentation and procedural steps, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and resolving complex issues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with insurance terminology and products is an asset.
