Our Structural Contract Administrator will play a vital role in supporting large-scale hospital projects, working closely with our Toronto-based Contract Administration team from their remote location in Halifax, NS. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of contract types, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field reviews and ensure adherence to contract documents
  • Review shop drawings and respond to RFI's from contractors
  • Coordinate with the design team and issue Site Instructions
  • Attend regular site meetings and develop strong relationships with contractors and clients
  • Perform analysis and structural design where necessary

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in civil engineering or related education specializing in structural
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in building construction
  • Familiarity with contract types including P3, design build, and lump sum delivery methods
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with project stakeholders and clients
