Job Description

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop market-leading solutions for our capital markets products and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop market-leading solutions
  • Collaborate with end-users and business teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies and contribute to the improvement of our software development process
  • Maintain and enhance existing systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in backend development with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
  • Experience working with microservices and API development in an enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL (e.g., Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle)
  • Familiarity with Shell scripting in Unix/Linux environments and containerized systems in public cloud (Azure or GKE/GCP)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
