SmartCentres is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Sales and Leasing to lead our sales and leasing efforts in the GTA. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and directing a team responsible for the sales and leasing of all residential developments within our portfolio. This includes market condominiums, single-family homes, and purpose-built rental units. The Senior Manager, Sales and Leasing will work collaboratively with partners, senior management, and Business Unit Leaders to drive long-term growth and profitability through smart, strategic decision making at all stages of the sales and leasing process. Key responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the sales and leasing centres, managing the schedule of all sales, leasing, and administrative staff, and being the onsite presence in the sales/leasing centers from Tuesday – Saturday from 10am – 7pm as core hours. The Senior Manager, Sales and Leasing will also be responsible for mentoring and managing sales, leasing, and administrative team, growing and maintaining an established network of external agents/brokers, and executing the sales and leasing strategy as defined by the executive teams. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in a professional sales and/or leasing position in an active market, a strong, established professional network of agents/brokers in the pre-construction sales industry, and a passion for developing innovative solutions to solve marketing problems. The Senior Manager, Sales and Leasing must be client focused, advocate and communicate a positive image of the company, both internally and externally. The Senior Manager, Sales and Leasing shall take accountability for decisions made and conduct oneself in a respectful and ethical manner in representing the company's interests. The Senior Manager, Sales and Leasing shall demonstrate entrepreneurialism and behave like an "owner" in carrying out daily tasks and responsibilities, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in achieving desired results. The Senior Manager, Sales and Leasing is expected to be a team player and work effectively with colleagues and associates in terms of input, sharing of ideas and working to achieve common goals.
