Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Leasing Consultant to join our team at AWIN - Jaguar Land Rover Thornhill. As a Sales and Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for selling and leasing new and pre-owned vehicles to existing and new customers, while meeting sales quota and gross profit targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Handle incoming sales traffic, including phone calls, internet inquiries, and in-person visits.
  • Qualify all prospects and arrange trade-in appraisals through the Pre-Owned Sales Manager.
  • Liaise between prospects and sales management during negotiations.
  • Turn over all sales customers to the finance office and arrange pre-owned deliveries through sales management and the finance office.
  • Actively prospect new customers and follow up with past deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on product changes and manufacturer sales, lease, and finance programs.
  • Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings and review performance metrics.
  • Familiarize yourself with all manufacturers' sales, lease, and finance programs and make annual lease maturity contact calls with existing clients.
  • Keep apprised of competitive products and review historical performance metrics with management to set annual sales objectives.
  • Participate in off-site marketing and advertising initiatives as required by sales management and assist in arranging showroom displays.
  • Participate in off-site product and skills training programs and close sales by overcoming objections and negotiating prices.
  • Keep apprised of all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws governing retail auto sales and escort customers to the customer lounge, parts counter, and introduce them to the service department.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
  • Clear Driver's Abstract.
  • Valid OMVIC registration.
  • Strong business acumen and professional appearance.
  • Ability to sell the minimum quota according to dealership objectives.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • 2 years of pre-owned luxury dealership experience.
