Job Summary:

The Compounding Department Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and directing the Compounding Department to ensure the achievement of corporate objectives and compliance with government regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compounding and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the shift performance of the Compounding Department, ensuring safety, GMP compliance, and productivity.
  • Plan and coordinate labor, equipment, and facility requirements to meet objectives.
  • Develop and implement GMP procedures and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Manage and improve the profitability, output, and efficiency of the department.
  • Design and implement effective and efficient manufacturing procedures and methods.
  • Implement various manufacturing operational projects to improve compounding operations.
  • Responsible for administering employee health programs, safety, and WHMIS.
  • Design, develop, and improve SOPs in compliance with government GMPs and corporate objectives.
  • Responsible for short-term compounding schedules and coordinating pilot batches.
  • Participate in conducting the annual internal GMP audit of the Compounding Department.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of supervision experience.
  • 5+ years of compounding experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, Health & Safety, and WHIMS.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
  • B.Sc. in Sciences a plus.
