The Compounding Department Manager will oversee the daily operations of the compounding department, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with corporate objectives and government regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compounding and supervisory experience, with excellent organizational, planning, and leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing and monitoring the performance of the compounding staff, including safety, training, and product quality.
  • Planning and coordinating labor, equipment, and facility requirements to meet objectives.
  • Developing and implementing GMP procedures in compliance with government and corporate regulations.
  • Designing and implementing effective and efficient manufacturing procedures and methods.
  • Implementing various manufacturing operational projects to improve compounding operations.
  • Responsible for administering employee health programs, safety, and WHMIS.
  • Designing, developing, and improving SOPs in compliance with government GMPs and corporate objectives.
  • Responsible for short-term compounding schedules and coordinating pilot batches.
  • Participating in the annual internal GMP audit of the compounding department.
