Our physiotherapists play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain independence. As a Physiotherapist at VHA, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse client groups across Southern Ontario and the Capital region.

The estimated salary for this position is around $90,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. This compensation package includes benefits and pension plan for permanent eligible employees, compensation for education and professional development, and opportunities for career advancement.

Job Description

As a Physiotherapist at VHA, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing physiotherapy consultation, assessment, and planned interventions for diverse client groups
  • Working within a continuous quality improvement framework to reflect VHA's vision and mission of services
  • Ensuring coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with all members of the client's team

You will also be responsible for documenting all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries of interventions as required by the profession, referral source, and the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Baccalaureate or Masters degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized school of physiotherapy
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • A minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in the community
  • Specialized courses to support areas of clinical expertise
  • Clinical expertise to provide a variety of physiotherapy interventions
