About the Role

The Physiotherapist - Community Care Specialist will be responsible for providing physiotherapy consultation, assessment, and planned interventions for diverse client groups across Southern Ontario and the Capital region. They will work within a continuous quality improvement framework that reflects VHA's vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing clients using interviews, standardized, and informal assessment techniques in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards established by VHA.
  • Preparing statistical records of client care and related activities as required by VHA, the Ministry of Health, and other agencies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Baccalaureate or Masters degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized school of physiotherapy.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in the community.
  • Clinical expertise to provide a variety of physiotherapy interventions.
  • Knowledge of community care requirements and resources available.

Benefits and Compensation:

VHA offers a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, eligible employees receive benefits and a pension plan. We are a leading learning organization, providing comprehensive orientation and training throughout your career.
