Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in providing physiotherapy consultation, assessment, and planned interventions for diverse client groups across Southern Ontario and the Capital region. As a Physiotherapist with VHA, you will work within a continuous quality improvement framework that reflects our vision and mission of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients using interviews, standardized, and informal assessment techniques in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards established by VHA.
  • Implement client interventions based on assessment information, client input, and in conjunction with the client's integrated care plan.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions through the routine use of valid and reliable outcome measures.
  • Attend client-related meetings to report on assessment findings and discuss plans for intervention, progress reports, and discharge as required.
  • Ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with all members of the client's team regarding plans and schedules for interventions.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized school of physiotherapy.
  • Registered, in good standing, with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in the community.
  • Clinical expertise to provide a variety of physiotherapy interventions.
  • Knowledge of community care requirements and resources available.
  • Excellent consultation and teaching skills, and utilizes an evidence base to clinical practice.
  • Familiar with the routine use of valid and reliable outcome measures to support clinical interventions.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
