Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

At Sirva Bgrs Llc, we are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our end-users, ensuring their computing experience is seamless and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level technical support via various channels, including self-service, email, chat, and voice.
  • Offer second-level technical support for end-user computing issues, ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve local OS and software issues, network connectivity problems, and hardware component failures.
  • Install, maintain, support, and upgrade client hardware and/or software as needed, leveraging endpoint management systems and tools.
  • Develop technical documentation to enhance the department's knowledge base and ensure knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to maintain local servers and network equipment.
  • Participate in IT and business project initiatives as required.
Requirements:
  • Computer-related degree or diploma, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of desktop support experience (level 2-3).
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Ability to document accurately in a problem and change management system.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills, especially when dealing with remote users.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft 365 Certification: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or similar certification.
  • Relevant technical training and/or related experience.
  • High School diploma required, with college degree preferred in a business or technical discipline.
