Job Title: Computer Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Computer Support Specialist to join our team at the National Research Council (NRC). As a key member of our Client Service Centre, you will provide technical support services to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for desktop and mobile devices, as well as audio-visual equipment
  • Source, implement, and troubleshoot hardware and software services
  • Assist IT team members in improving general operating efficiency
  • Create, edit, and maintain documentation
  • Provide IT support to computer users
Requirements:
  • College diploma in Computer Science or related field
  • Significant experience in providing desktop and technical support
  • Experience using service management applications
  • Knowledge of ITIL core processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
