The Opportunity

You'll learn the ins and outs of preparing great food, from grilling meats to sautéing vegetables. With our focus on quality and customer satisfaction, you'll be responsible for making sure our food meets the highest standards. You'll also have the opportunity to train others to become future kitchen managers, helping to shape the next generation of leaders.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, following kitchen procedures, and monitoring food waste and inventory levels.
  • Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crew.
  • Develop crew members to be future kitchen leaders.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members and customers to ensure great customer service and throughput.
  • Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized, and equipment is kept in good repair.
  • Fill out necessary documents, including Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Chipotle crew member experience.
  • Able to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
  • Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand primary language(s) of the work location.
  • High school diploma.
  • Restaurant experience.
