The Paramount Lebanese Kitchen is seeking an experienced and skilled Restaurant General Manager Assistant to join its team. This role will provide a unique opportunity for the right candidate to take on key responsibilities in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, overseeing staff performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

About the Job:
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and increasing revenue.
  • You will be responsible for evaluating daily operations, monitoring revenues, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • This role also involves supervising staff, recruiting new team members, and training existing employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth running of the restaurant.
  2. Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  3. Supervise staff to ensure they are performing at their best and providing excellent customer service.
  4. Recruit new team members and train existing employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. Balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  6. Conduct performance reviews to assess employee progress and provide feedback for improvement.
  7. Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.
  8. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to create a safe working environment.
  9. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue streams.
  10. Lead and instruct individuals to achieve exceptional results and build a high-performing team.
  11. Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to create a positive dining experience.
  13. Manage events such as weddings, corporate functions, and private parties to generate additional revenue.
  14. Supervise up to 20 staff members to ensure they are meeting expectations and delivering excellent results.
Salary Estimate:

We estimate the salary for this position to be between $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires working on site at the Paramount Lebanese Kitchen location. There is no option for remote work.
