About the Role

As a Strategic Partnership Developer at Intact Financial Corporation, you will play a key role in the strategic development of our affinity partnerships. Your primary focus will be on leading consultants in respective regions, ensuring delivery of plans and KPIs. You will also be responsible for managing consultants, client relationship management, identifying and developing new prospect pipelines, and engaging in public speaking at client events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage consultants in respective regions, ensuring delivery of plans and KPIs
  • Primary focus is leading consultants on existing account execution, ensuring growth and profitability within these accounts are delivered
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with Affinity Partners to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction
  • Identify and develop new prospect pipeline, including performing market research
  • Engage in public speaking at client events being the face of belairdirect in the marketplace
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Providing regular reports on account status, sales progress, and forecasts for future business opportunities
  • Support in delivery of fee/rate agendas across products including managing key renewals – proactive group management
  • Responsible to cross sell/introduce all product offerings into existing groups.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company's products or services to effectively communicate value to clients
  • Collaborating with Internal Teams: Working closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to meet client objectives
  • Problem Solving: Addressing any client issues and providing solutions to maintain a high level of client satisfaction

Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Over 5 years of experience in a management role
  • As a leader, being able to foster a positive working environment
  • Strong strategic and organizational skills and attention to details
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Can meet deadlines while managing many projects simultaneously
  • A courteous professional with the ability to build relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Systematically monitors projects and follows up on tasks
  • Able to work in a team and share your ideas
  • Expert in Microsoft Office products. In particular, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to produce executive quality presentations to deliver results and strategies
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Bilingual (French and English)
