Director of Commercial Services Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our commercial services team in Burnaby, British Columbia. As Director of Commercial Services, you will oversee account-level financial and commercial matters, working closely with matrixed teams to align customer and vendor agreements with our account strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee commercial aspects of customer agreements, ensuring alignment with our account strategy.
  • Establish and manage relationships with vendors, negotiating agreements that meet our business needs.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with governance teams to manage changes to customer agreements, ensuring compliance with governance processes.
  • Support the development of key governance materials, such as dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  • Lead key governance initiatives and projects, driving business outcomes and growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience working in large enterprise organizations, with a proven track record of commercial success.
  • 5+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of public sector knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders, facilitating collaborative approaches with contract partners.
