Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at the Stacked Pancake House. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
