We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Chef of India. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision.
- 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
