Business Development Representative

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to provide exceptional support to our sales consultants and client servicing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the group benefits industry, including funding arrangements, and be able to offer innovative solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and retain assigned business blocks
- Develop and implement strategic plans to retain clients and grow our business
- Network and build relationships with external and internal colleagues
- Conduct plan member education sessions
- Prepare and deliver necessary tools, benchmarking, and renewal reports
- Develop communications for plan sponsors and employees
- Participate in industry conferences and seminars
- Maintain deep knowledge of administration and best practices
- Define service standards with clients and manage account lifecycles
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in group benefits in a client-facing role
- Ability to act as a brand ambassador for cross-functional services
- Understanding of the group benefits industry
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Positive attitude and strong team player
- Solutions-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables
