About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to provide exceptional support to our sales consultants and client servicing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the group benefits industry, including funding arrangements, and be able to offer innovative solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and retain assigned business blocks
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to retain clients and grow our business
  • Network and build relationships with external and internal colleagues
  • Conduct plan member education sessions
  • Prepare and deliver necessary tools, benchmarking, and renewal reports
  • Develop communications for plan sponsors and employees
  • Participate in industry conferences and seminars
  • Maintain deep knowledge of administration and best practices
  • Define service standards with clients and manage account lifecycles

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in group benefits in a client-facing role
  • Ability to act as a brand ambassador for cross-functional services
  • Understanding of the group benefits industry
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Positive attitude and strong team player
  • Solutions-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables
