Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to provide exceptional client-focused account support and relationship management to external clients and internal consultants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the group benefits industry and be able to offer innovative solutions to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and retain an assigned business block
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct plan member education sessions and provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure necessary tools and reports are prepared and delivered to clients
  • Develop communications required for plan sponsors and their employees
  • Participate in industry conferences and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry trends
  • Maintain deep knowledge of administration and best practices
  • Define service standards with clients and manage account lifecycle

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in group benefits in a client-facing role
  • Ability to act as a brand ambassador for cross-functional services
  • Understanding of the group benefits industry and funding arrangements
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Positive attitude and strong team player
  • Solutions-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables promptly
