Job Summary:

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at the Canada Games Centre in Halifax, NS. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, muscle weakness, and limited range of motion.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Utilize electronic charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations, ensuring accurate and timely communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with Kinesiologists and/or Physiotherapy Assistants to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Work effectively with the inter-professional team at your clinic to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
  • Supervise Physiotherapy students, as preferred, to support their professional development and growth.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders and client referral sources to ensure effective patient care and coordination.
  • Manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and responsibilities to meet patient needs and expectations.
