Job Title: Director of Sales

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading the on-property sales team and developing strategic commercial plans to drive revenue across all market segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales team from recruitment and induction through to team development, fostering a high-performing environment that delivers on objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic commercial plans to source, drive, and grow revenue across all segments, monitoring results and adjusting strategies to meet objectives and targets.
  • Manage and lead the sales team, ensuring close working relationships with regional and brand leads for Sales, Revenue, and Brand, as well as fostering strong working relationships with the wider Accor Global Sales Team.
  • Provide local market knowledge to stay ahead of the competition and take ownership of pre-opening sales strategies and the sales critical path.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, taking the lead on rate negotiations and account management activities to maximize market share.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience in a senior sales role, preferably within the Irish market.
  • Passion for hotel sales and goal-driven approach.
  • Ability to introduce structured ways of working into a fast-paced environment that relies on flexibility and speed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships and driving results.
