As a Senior Banking Relationship Manager at Webster Bank, you will be responsible for achieving sales, service, and operational goals for the Banking Center. You will work closely with existing clients and prospects to deepen their relationship with the bank and increase market share. You will also play a vital role in coaching staff to cross-sell products and services, maintaining a working knowledge of Webster's products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Banking Center Manager with achievement of banking center sales, customer service, P&L management, operations, and employee development.
  • Assume responsibility for the banking center in the Manager's absence and ensure exceptional client experience.
  • Expected to achieve/exceed individual sales, service, and operations targets.
  • Respond to customers' needs by processing routine banking transactions accurately and preparing client applications.
  • Build COIs by networking and prospecting to propagate the Webster brand and create value.
  • Support segmentation strategy with existing clients by implementing sales, retention, and other bank initiatives to support Banking Center's growth and profitability objectives.
  • Assist with the completion of required audits and operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws as well as bank policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED, with a college degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of customer sales/service experience, with 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • A working knowledge of all products and services offered by Webster Bank.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to support teamwork and create a positive working environment.
