**Job Summary**

This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of commercial banking and a proven track record of business development. As a Senior Client Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial banking clients and developing strategies to grow their business.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial banking clients with moderate to high complexity, including financial statement analysis and credit needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow client business, including identifying new sales opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Provide integrated financial solutions to clients, including commercial lending and deposit products.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including credit analysts and relationship managers, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • Manage and analyze credit applications, working closely with Client Service Associates to ensure timely and accurate completion.

**Requirements**

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in business or economics or work equivalency.
  • Demonstrated success in a business development role, with a focus on new client acquisitions.
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial banking marketplace in Canada and a detailed understanding of the assigned market area's key industries and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on organizational skills and time management.
