About the Role:

HIBACHI is seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality food standards, managing kitchen operations, and supervising a team of specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Or equivalent experience.

Work Environment:

  • Noisy.
