Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Okanagan Good Food Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, prepare and submit reports, and establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Language: English.
