Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Okanagan Good Food Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and food service areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition and Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure efficient operations.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and provide training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Work Scheduling and Supervision: Establish work schedules and supervise staff in various areas of responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with high pressure to meet customer demands.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, with regular breaks to maintain productivity.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management and quality control.
