Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure seamless operations
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and accurate service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team, with initiative and dependability
