About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced team supervisor to join our Edo Japan team. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for managing employees, ensuring efficient restaurant operations, and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage employees, including assigning tasks and ensuring they are completed efficiently and according to health and safety standards.
  • Oversee employee breaks and ensure positions are covered during each worker's rotation.
  • Organize weekly schedules and address conflicts promptly.
  • Ensure restaurant operations provide a high-quality customer experience, including speed of service, accuracy, friendliness, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor customer wait times and ensure that a certain time limit is not reached.
  • Supervise the production of menu items to ensure employees are distributing food according to health and safety standards.
  • Lead opening and closing procedures, including counting manual counts, creating cash accountability reports, and conducting bank deposits.
Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory experience, with a proven track record of managing teams and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Able to motivate and encourage team members, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Up-to-date food handling certification.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
