About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Team Leader to join our team at Philthy Philly's Cheesesteak & Poutinerie. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional food and service.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility as a Culinary Team Leader will be to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. You will work closely with our head chef to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

You will also be responsible for training and developing our culinary team members, including new hires and existing staff looking to advance their skills. This will involve creating and implementing training programs, providing feedback and coaching, and helping team members to achieve their career goals.

In addition to your culinary expertise, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage conflicts and difficult situations. You must also be able to maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

To be successful as a Culinary Team Leader at Philthy Philly's Cheesesteak & Poutinerie, you will need to have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management, with a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex issues
  • A passion for delivering exceptional food and service, with a commitment to quality and attention to detail
