Job Overview

This is a permanent full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. The successful candidate will have experience in engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, diagnostics, alignment, steering and suspension, brake system, fuel and emission system, ignition and electrical system, standard transmission, engine repair and overhaul, drive train components, front end components, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be reliable, punctual, and a team player. Experience is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Review work orders and estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service and coach and instruct apprentices
  • Hold the Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification and the Red Seal Certificate
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots
