We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cambridge, Ontario. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and opportunities for growth and development.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for overseeing the operation of various systems, including the D.I. Water System, Boiler, and E-coat systems. The successful candidate will provide guidance to production personnel on chemical adds required to maintain processes within normal operating parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Monitor inventory levels of process chemicals and order replenishment quantities.
  • Act as backup Waste Water Treatment Operator.
  • Monitor processes on a scheduled basis and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimum process parameters.
  • Select test methods and equipment and test solutions used in coating processes.
  • Select samples for testing at specific stages in the production process.
  • Setup or adjust test equipment as required to perform solution tests.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education in chemistry or a related field.
  • Two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and analytical ability.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
