We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at RMA Technologies Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using various equipment and techniques. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electronics and manufacturing who want to take their skills to the next level.

About the Role

This position involves working on-site, where you will be required to perform tasks such as soldering, operating automatic and semi-automatic machines, checking final assemblies for finish and labelling, and performing electrical tests.

Responsibilities
  • Solder and manually assemble various electronic components on PCBs
  • Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position, solder and clean prescribed components on PCBs
  • Check final assembly for finish, labelling and packaging methods
  • Perform go-no-go electrical tests
  • Clean work area
  • Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
  • Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts and systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in electronics assembly and testing
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on mathematics and science
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with power tools, hand tools and soldering equipment
