Job Title: Project Coordinator Technology Services

Job Summary:

The City of Toronto is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator Technology Services to join our team. As a key member of our Technology Services department, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, including project schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and clients, to ensure that all project requirements are met.
  • Issue Management: Identify, document, and manage project issues, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all risks are managed and mitigated to minimize their impact on the project.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage project team members, ensuring that all team members are working effectively and efficiently to deliver project results.
  • Client Management: Manage client relationships, ensuring that all client requirements are met and that clients are satisfied with project deliverables.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit project reports, including project status reports, financial reports, and other reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong project coordination and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is an asset.
