Business Development Specialist

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Business Advisor to join our team in Whitehorse. As a Business Advisor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value and complex small business owner relationships to achieve retention and other negotiated goals while meeting Scotiabank's Service Standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with small business owners to understand their financial needs and provide tailored advice and solutions.
- Proactively engage with new and existing clients to build strong, ongoing relationships and provide comprehensive advice to help them achieve their business goals.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor offerings to ensure you are providing the best possible advice and solutions to your clients.
- Collaborate with other business lines within the bank to provide a comprehensive range of advice and services to our clients.
- Education in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience as a small business owner.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Excellent business development techniques and a strong understanding of small business legal structures and life cycles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
