Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Advisor to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Business Advisor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value and complex small business owner relationships to achieve retention and other negotiated goals while meeting Scotiabank's Service Standard.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with small business owners to provide comprehensive advice and support
- Proactively engage with new and existing clients to build strong, ongoing relationships and provide tailored solutions
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor offerings to provide expert advice and guidance
- Collaborate with other business lines within the bank to provide a seamless customer experience
- Participate in internal training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Education in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience as a small business owner
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong business development skills and knowledge of small business products and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
