Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and solutions-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support our team's full spectrum of HR activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full Cycle Recruitment: Support the recruitment process for hourly production roles, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing with hiring managers, and onboarding new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, provide guidance on legislative matters, company policies, and procedures.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage disability claims, communicate with insurance providers, facilitate accommodation requests, and answer questions about benefits and company programs.
  • Employee Engagement: Work with the HR team and leaders to boost employee engagement, retention, and company culture through initiatives, surveys, and events.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software (e.g., Dayforce, UKG).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 based on experience.
  • 3 weeks paid vacation and 1 week paid winter closure.
  • Annual Profit Sharing bonus based on company performance.
  • RRSP Employer match (up to 5%).
